CAROLS & ENTERTAINMENT - from 6.45pm

We pride ourselves on providing an evening of high-quality entertainment for the whole family.

This year we have over a dozen fabulous local artists performing contemporary Christmas songs as well as leading you in singing much-loved Carols with a modern twist and all backed by the Carols Big Band!

In addition we are joined by vocal groups from many local schools showcasing their talents.

And as always we have a special section for our younger audience members with the fabulous ‘Once Upon A Princess’ putting together a Christmas show just for us!

WELCOME !

On behalf of the combined churches of Mount Barker region, thank you for visiting the Mount Barker Community Carols and Fireworks website.

This event is only made possible by the faithful support of our carols committee, volunteers, musicians, artists, sponsors, local businesses, churches, Mt Barker District Council and community members like yourself who join in the celebrations each year.

We come together as a diverse community to celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace 2000 years ago.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6 NIV)

As we enjoy celebrating together, singing carols, hearing a word of hope, seeing joy on children’s faces, watching fireworks and seeing the light of candles shining in the darkness, may peace and hope for a better world be birthed in our hearts.

May you and your family know the joy of Jesus’ presence in your life this Christmas, and in the year ahead.
